Baby Naming Certificates

Baby naming, whether they are called bris, naming, baptism or christening, are part of every religious tradition. Good Company has developed certificates that honor a child's interfaith heritage. Every certificate has a silkscreened background of a proud sun overlooking a family tree, the Tree of Life. Three variations of the text reflect parents' decisions about the faith in which they will raise the baby: Interfaith, Christian, and Jewish. On all three variations, the arch at the top says... “God made every tree to grow, the tree of life and the tree of knowledge in the center of our garden.”

As the sun nurtures the tree of life, we welcome the newborn to the family. These certificates support the child-raising decisions of the interfaith couple. Though of similar design, the text offers three choices: If the child is being raised in the Jewish tradition; in both faiths (as shown); or has been baptized. All three permit a Hebrew name.
